OSU game reminded me of the early 2000’s teams.

Tough, physical, confident, aggressive, hard-hitting, emotional and just flat out bullies.

I’ve been yearning for that attitude to come back and I think we finally saw a glimpse of the future.

Sure felt like it didn't it, I had a good feeling when they started dropping like flies, haven't been punched like that all year.

Bunch of 2 and 3 stars dominated and beat up 4 and 5 stars. So proud of our team.
Ferentz has a way of finding these diamonds in the rough.

Really hoping we can look back at this game in a few years as a major upwards turning point for the program. Back to being a regular in the top 25 rankings, top 10 on occasion, more visits to the B1G championship game (and wins), be right up there for final four, new year's six bowls, etc.

There was a definite attitude adjustment in that game, just felt like some confidence and aggressive attitude got discovered yesterday for this emerging team.

Saturday at Wisconsin should be Bully Bowl when the two physically toughest BIG teams clash. Hopefully they can sustain some of what they had Saturday. Iowa should be able to play loose as they really have nothing to loose, Bucky has much more to lose.

At the start of that final scoring drive when the o line was standing on the field by them selves waiting for the rest of the team you could tell they knew they've finally done their job smiling ear to ear but none looked happier than wirfs he looked like a kid in a candy shop

I didn't have any feeling that we bullied TOSU, I had more of a feeling of back in the 80's when we had more finesse and weren't afraid to run up the score without offending the opposing coach.
This looked more like Hayden's Chuck Long/Chuck Hartlieb teams with Ronnie Harmon and Marv Cook . We passed to open up the running game.
Now, the real physical games are played against Michigan State and Wisconsin. Maybe this Saturday we can be physical on defense and also have some finesse on offense.

Great point here. In 2015 when we had our undefeated regular season run. Towards the end of the season, just seemed like we were playing not to lose. This year with 3 loses on our resume, we can open things up & go for broke!
