With the last time in ‘42 when OSU succeeded Minnesota as champs after the Goophs’ repeat NC in ‘41.

Over the same period of time, the SEC has done it 13 times. Ouch.

I’m considering conference affiliation at the time of championship, btw. So for example, I don’t consider any Penn State or USC NCs to be Big Ten, nor do I consider any Texas or OU to be SEC.

Time to start closing that gap Monday night.

Thats what happens when you travel and play all the Big games on the road in SEC country.

Voting was just a popularity contest. Pure b.s. should have always been a tournament.
Ya, that's true. What we should have had all along was the same few teams that get all the talent and have all the resources continually win the national championship that they really win before the season ever starts.

Aside from history, also working against Ohio State on Monday will be an all-SEC officiating crew.

OSU is f***ed.
