Caitlyn Clark 2 more years?

I couldn't disagree with this much more. She isn't winning a natty at Iowa most likely with the lack of depth and she needs to do that to truly elevate her brand. I would transfer to UConn and team up with Paige Bueckers to try to win one or two, even if it isn't good for her individual stats.

Losing to Creighton at home in the second round does nothing for her and the New York media market is in a league of it's own, I'd guess she'd have better NIL opportunities there too. Practicing against the best with the UConn roster would have to be beneficial too. I don't think she will transfer but if I was her dad I would be bringing it up
This totally disregards all of the reasons Clark chose Iowa in the first place lol. She chose Iowa because she wanted to be close to home, because she wanted to build something, and because she wanted the green light to play her way. As expected, Bluder gave her the keys to the program and she is now the face of the program. More than one person has called her the face of WBB. If she wins NPOY this year, that will cement the moniker.

Furthermore, last time I checked, she was (I think) the 4th highest paid athlete in the country, men or women (perhaps is now #1 or will be #1 soon -- this was before Nike, and she's likely not done signing deals yet). She is already making over well over a million a year. She may very well be making over $2 million with Nike. Furthermore, she's said the following:

1) She "never" wants to leave Iowa City / Iowa
2) She thinks Bluder is the best coach in the country and wants to win as many games as she can for her
3) She wants to take Iowa to a Final Four (an achievable, if not probable, goal tbh -- with the right addition from the portal, this may very well be more likely next year than this one).

None of these things suggest she would ever transfer. They also don't suggest she wants to win a NC that badly. If she wanted to win a NC above all else, she would have gone to SC, Stanford or UConn (who all recruited her).

You can tell by her comments to the media that she really wants to take Iowa's program and national profile to the next level. She commonly uses talking points that promote the program and staff (remember "Women's basketball lives in Iowa City baby"?). She believes in Iowa and is emotionally invested in its future.

If anything, based on all of this, I'd be very surprised if she doesn't take a 5th year (at Iowa).

She is drawing eyes nationally. If she weren't, Fox and ESPN would not be putting so many games on national TV. That said, I'm not saying that women's basketball will be comparable to men's numbers or even World Series of Poker numbers any time soon. But, if she remains healthy, remains exciting to watch, and the WNBA can market her properly she will increase the value of every franchise in the league.
No, she will not and it has nothing to do with her.

Until women can dunk in traffic and their game gets more than a couple inches off the ground, literally, it will never get bigger than it is now in our free market.
