Then have someone kick him in the f***ing mouth while he isn't looking.
Smith is an elite player, far better than I thought he could be. He is one of the best guards in college basketball, if not the best, despite not being very tall. Harding is a pretty good college player with excellent ballhandling skills, but he is at a disadvantage on the defensive end, because of his size. Opponents try to exploit his size. I am glad he is a Hawkeye, but he needs good players around him to excel.
Hay, for all you Drew Thelwell advocates, you realize that he's also on this team and the last time I looked neither one has made a difference. Drew as a 5th year senior nor Brock as a sophomore, which has more upside going forward, my bet is on Brock. If Fran plays Drew more minutes it's totally understandable, but the point guard position is not the reason Iowa is losing by any stretch of the imagination. It has more to do how Fran ménage's the games and roster. He's awful at both, it's time for him to go...
