Pretty much mirrored mine.
How does this experienced team not execute in that last stretch? The 2 turnovers on inbounds specifically mentioned as why we didn't use timeout. They knew they had it and for that purpose.

Also said ISU didn't really do anything different on Utoff in the second half other than a little more up on him. Simply said he stopped shooting. Sounds frustrated with him.
Uthoff was wide open for a three at a critical point with maybe 5 to 7 minutes to play and he doesn't even look to shoot.
Fran must need stronger glasses. ISU played Uthoff a lot tighter in the 2nd half.
The no time out on the consecutive inbound blunders are absolutely inexcusable for college players.
If Fran didn't notice the difference in how ISU guarded Utoff in the second half then he is simply not qualified to be a head coach.
Something to the effect that he was disappointed in the player's ability to close the game out. Only to the team though in post-game discussion, not to the media. I read that in one of the post-game threads but can't find it now so that is subject to that poster's veracity. I should have said that up front.
Regardless, McCaffrey really messed this one up IMO. It would be nice for him to acknowledge that IMO.
Jock said in the post game that Utoff told him that he thought that ISU would try to stop him and that it was up to him now. It sounds like he made the choice to stop. Very frustrating.
This is where I lost it in the 2nd half. Thomas was bodying up Utoff in the 2nd half and no calls. So you know what you do, You go right at the kid and make him choose. Thomas is not that physical of a player (MSU is way worse) and you go right at him. UTOFF let him push him all over.
I love the Iowa team, but we are a bunch of 6-4-6-9 tweeners who are not physical at all. Iowa has to get stronger and Utoff has to demand the ball on the block. I remember last year Travis Trice from MSU guarding Utoff on the block. The 6-2 Trice shut down Utoff on the block, that should not happen.
Iowa lacks mental toughness.

Possible flagrant kind of makes it kind of hard for Uthoff to do what he should have done to Thomas. It used to be that you let the opponent know they were too much up into you be planting an elbow across the side of the head.
Hawks lost their aggressiveness once Jok got poked in the eye. Not sure why Uthoff seemed to lose his aggressiveness, after the tremendous first half he had.

Pretty sure that was White but the point still stands.
No way in the world Thomas should be able to gaurd Uthoff.
