Wait… Are we supposed to hate Joe T or something? The dude was a warrior during his time here and got yanked around a lot by Fran(not saying it wasn’t warranted) and never seemed to complain. He always played his butt off ever time he was out there. I will be rooting for him this season.
Agreed. He made mistakes and his short leash was evident during his time at IOWA but his D intensity finally rubbed off on some of those that didn’t have a clue and it showed during the BIG tournament.
I agree with this statement....and if I see news on him I will probably read it, and am hoping things go well because I think he's a good kid. That said, I doubt I will give any thought to him (unless we struggle at PG) and will simply be watching the Hawks. I won't spend extra time checking on or thinking about him.

Lots of Hawk fans will not be rooting for him which I understand since he left. I'm hoping he does well and has success. He seemed like a good dude and you could tell the man worked his arse off.

This. I just don't care about West VA basketball. If Joe T does well, good for him. But I really don't care.
That's part of why I'll also cheer for him. Since it's a team I don't have any love/hate for I hope he does well. Now if he went to Iowa State, Nebraska, etc. I'd probably have a different answer.
Fair enough. For instance if he went to Purdue I wouldn't love it.
WV seems like a good fit and I don't wish bad things on him, but I care a lot more about Bowen and Ulis.
I agree with the bolded above but rooting for Joe T is not mutually exclusive of the other comment. He was a good Hawk and left on good terms (reportedly), so I will catch quite a few of WV games personally.
