Home games - Purdue, Wisky, Oregon, Washington, MSU. I see one W and maybe a crazy upset. Call it 2 for rounding.
Road games -- OSU, Rutgers, MD, Illinois, NW, Nebraska. Iowa sucks on the road. 2 W's is generous.
BTT - Possibly 1.
I'm saying 3-5. No chance at 20.

I think we get six somehow but not 7. 2 home, optimistically 3 road, and one BTT.
That looks incredibly challenging at the moment…..win at Ohio State and the perspective is a little different.
We will get at least one or two wins that we didn’t expect, which will give a few folks hope; but then we’ll blow it in the end.

That's where I'm at. 16-17 or so, maybe. Remaining schedule doesn't have many that I think they have a high chance of winning.
No way, Iowa only has it's starting lineup and that's about it. Fran never has had a roster that provides the support it needs. They may win a few games by upsets, but with 11 games left, every game is going to be a longshot at best and every game, Iowa will be the underdog. Fran continues to recruit like he's going to be the head coach for Iowa next year, and with this years team not making the tournament that is not going to fill the seats at carver anytime soon. Every player that Fran recruits for next years team, puts Iowa further down the ladder in the BIG TEN.
Brauns, did he provide much this year?, Was Payton or Pryce consistent? Ladji, what ever, Cooper no help, Traore, Tadjo inconsistent or unavailable and don't talk to me about Mulvey, his height alone could have helped either as a back up to Owen or along side Owen.
Fran is his own worst enemy by far, and his staff is right there with him, nothing but a drain of money on the U OF I.

This next week will be about as good as can get .... Fran & the Hawks will lose @ OSU tomorrow night and then won't put us through the torture of watching them lose - I mean, play - again until the following Tuesday night.
@ OSU - L, road game against a team that isn't great but good enough to beat Iowa on any night
vs Purdue - L, Purdue will have its best shooting % of the season on this night
vs Wisconsin - L, Badgers won't go crazy like last time but know Iowa still doesn't want to play defense
@ Rutgers - L, RU is not all that good but will shoot lights out in this one
@ Maryland - L, by double-digits
vs Oregon - tossup, either a very tight win or just another L
vs Washington - W, even as bad as it is and could be, if Fran loses this one, Beth has to push him out the door at the end of the season
@ Illinois - L, of the boatraced kind
@ Northwestern - L, could be a tight final margin, but very likely still a loss
vs Michigan St - L, could be a very ugly L, Spartans are best in the B1G
@ Nebraska - L, likely by double-digits because Fred and the Huskers will be looking for payback

I see anywhere from 1 to 6 wins, pre-BTT. Washington is a win. Possible wins - OSU, Rutgers, Oregon, NW, Nebraska. 10-10 in the BT, 19-12 overall. Best outcome. 5-15 in the BT, 14-17 overall. Worst outcome.
I’d call it realistic based on how the season has went thus far. 2-3 more wins seems likely.
I would wager they win more than 3 games the rest of the year. Under 3 not happening.
I see Washington as the only win and that is because its at home. 1-7
The non conference schedule was full of patsy’s to get easy wins.

But I would so take you up on this if I did.
No way this team, as it currently is, wins anything more than that Washington game. And even that is very much not a sure thing.
Two more loses and Fran will be in familiar territory, 14 out or 15 years now, I should listen to you all, Brock had his worse game of the year and I get it. he caused Dix to go scoreless, Payton to go 5 of 16 from the field 3 of 10 from three, caused Dembele to go scoreless and caused Pryce to go 1 of four from the field and oh four 2 from three. Terrible evening all around.

I see a 1-9 with a big W against Washington at home. Maybe a 2-8 finish as we may get that unexpected W against somebody - who I couldn't speculate as we should only be favored in the Washington game I would think.

And CHA will be a ghost town. Fran has never endeared himself to the fans or the students. He just needs to leave. He’s fleeced the U of I enough. Time for new blood.

Hawks have now lost 4 out of their last 5 games, barely squeaking by PSU in a win. How do they overcome that with who's coming up in the next 2 games? They won't. That's a stretch that puts to bed any hope of salvaging this season. The BTT won't matter, even if they manage to qualify.
If the Hawks win any other game this season, besides vs Washington, it'll be a Christmas Miracle.
Gonna get destroyed by Purdue and Wisky at home. God, I hate that Wisky big man.
