Idk, if I know someone personally and they are an absolute scumbag substance abuser. And I learn they’re getting a job involving kids and somehow slipped though the system. I think I might want to let the employer know about it. My conscious would bother me if I didn’t say something.

It's already been stated, and it's common knowledge that the family has little use for RFK,.. Be like asking Iowa what it thinks about Iowa State joining the Big Ten,... What's the point?
It’s a feee country and folks are allowed to speak their opinion. If you don’t care thats fine. Others might be swayed. That’s why she is speaking out. My guess it won’t matter if Hegseth can get 50 votes. Kennedy should as well.

To be honest, the halcyon days for this family have come and gone. They’re more like a lot of families now. Not everyone automatically gets along or likes each other.
But aside from that, everyone knows Jr. hasn’t led a monk’s life, and frankly very few of those folks have. I think maybe Caroline is an exception to that, thanks in part to her Mother who knew full well their family dynamic.
We also know his ideas about vaccines are way out there and not supported by any sort of real science.
As I’ve said, if he’s not confirmed I won’t be surprised or upset.
You know, just because he’s a Democrat loon doesn’t mean he shouldn’t get a shot like the last Democrat loon to hold the position.
I will lose zero minutes of sleep if Jr. is not confirmed, because he's a nut and because in any event the secretary of hhs should be someone who runs an insurance company.
As for the airing of family laundry, I do sort of get a kick out of the 'trading on the family name' thing. CK is obviously accomplished (among the most accomplished of the ones left), though the drop off curve generally tends to be pretty steep when you get to get to about the third generation or so of a scion family. By my reckoning, she seems to have secured most of her positions in life through appointments, which I'm sure had nothing to do with the family name. I guess only some of them get to trade off the name.
