Mediacom Court , rated the worst consumer satisfaction company ever.
please oh please Iowa get Mediacom logo off the damn floor. it looks terrible and many Iowa fans have had bad experiences with that company.
I agree with you Phenomenally Fantastic but there is a LOT of money involved and I'm not sure they will ever turn it down.
I hate Mediacom with every fiber of my being, but if they want to give the Hawks a buttload of money, I won't complain TOO much about their logo on the court.

Mediacom should put the money they spend on naming rights towards improving their company instead. Want more business? Offer a better product.
I'm assuming they'll now be able to use this for official recruit visits (putting recruits pics on the big screen, etc.)...
Amen. Poor service aside, the logo used on the floor is simply not visually appealing.
It looks like the actual court, but taken at where ever it's being constructed at. They would put it together, along with the painting and decals, then separate into the individual panels for shipment and installation.
The walls shown by the court in those pics don't look like any part of the practice facility I've seen.
Yep, looks like a warehouse to me. I believe they also number and map the panels for reassembly.
Looks great to me! I'm not a fan of the Mediacom logo, but this version of the logo is much less of an eye sore than the old.
I actually really wish we didn't go with the parquet floor pattern with the new one. It always looks so blah to me on TV.
Here ya go gents. Scoreboard/audio is going to be a huge upgrade.
Video Board over center court looks great. Is the floor any different? I believe the MediaCom logos are smaller/different. Anything else?
Mediacom logo looks way better and both are up top on the floor now as far as placement. Also, the baseline font may have changed from italics to standard font. Hard to tell from this angle.

Love the scoreboard, think it will really help the overall experience there. Does seem a little low though, like you will hit it if you throw a full court shot.
I might be in the minority but kind of wish we would have went back to the yellow lanes and trim.

No, the viewpoint of the pic is from the walkway all the way at the top.
Now imagine you are in row 1-5. any higher you would have to look straight up. This height is likely ideal for 80% of the seats, ie row 5-45 or whatever. the extremes will have a different viewing angle.
One thing I didn't realize until I watched the time lapse of the installation is that there is another Tigerhawk under the scoreboard. I'm assuming it lights up too. Kinda cool

They showed the time lapse on TV, and it looked like the seats were all black. Man, did that look sharp. But from these stills I see it was just a lighting thing. Alas, the ugly beige seats remain. Too bad. But the upgrades are outstanding, even if they are about a decade late.
Is it just me or should the underside tigerhawk on the scoreboard go in the same direction as the one on the floor? ok, so here is my OCD coming out, but I wish they would just decide on which color gold they are going to use and stick with it. the tigerhawk on the underside of the scoreboard is the oldgold and the floor is the lemon yellow. argh
Plus, the scoreboard looks significantly higher than the ceiling in high school gyms (at least the ones in our conference). The only time I've seen a ball actually hit the ceiling, it likely wasn't going in anyway. And yes, I've seen a couple of 3/4 court or so last second shots go in.
That's likely just a difference in lighting. The floor is fully lit while the underside of the scoreboard is in shadow/indirectly lit.
Andrew Brommer's elaborate multi-year plot to never allow his full court backward shot repeated comes to fruition...well played Andrew.
