Castle will be playing the regional in my town. I have some amazing film clips/pics of our gym, which is the third largest high school gym in the world. It seats 8,100, and in the corners they can add enough seats to get it up to 8,300 or so. I don't know if it is possible, and if so, how to get a tweet or FB post to this site. I think you will be impressed if you can see them. If you want, you can follow me on twitter @RobSipe11.
He will likely meet up with Romeo Langford from New Albany. Depending on which site you like, he is anywhere from the #1 to #3 recruit in his class. I've seen Cody Zeller, Yogi Ferrell, Pat Graham, Damon Bailey, and several other superstar high school players play here, but Romeo is my favorite. He is the smoothest of all of them, the most athletic, and he carries himself with a demeanor that will blow you away. Great kid!

Good stuff Rob. New Albany plays at 10am and Castle 12pm. If both win they'll face off at 8pm. That would be a great game to see! Romeo is 6-5 and New Albany's tallest player is 6-6. Castle has a 6-5 Sr. and Jr. and then Jack listed at 6-10.

It is on my Twitter feed, and then you have to go to Facebook to see the video. There is a pretty good pic on the Twitter feed that gives you a good idea. I will try and get it to this site also.

Does the state of Wisconsin stream their games like Iowa does? I would like to see him play.

They play two games in one day??

What grade is Romeo and is he committed?

Some games are streamed here in Indiana, but unfortunately, I am not technically savvy, so I don't even know how to find out which games are, and which games are not.

I hear Romeo will stay home and play for Louisville. Supposed to be a really humble, good kid that is a homebody. That is a second hand opinion, I have no personal relationship at all with him.

I believe Nunge had 20 points in the final, I would guess 12-15 rebounds. Castle was very fundamentally sound, and big. Their starters went 6-2, 6-2, 6-3, 6-5, and 6-11. New Albany relies on their athleticism, and Castle's height and fundamentals really bothered them. Castle did a great job of blocking out, and dominated the boards. I would guess at least 20 points came off of tip ins. I thought Castle as a whole, and Nunge in particular, were a very good passing team. (Sorry, I didn't see the 18 rebound total above).

Doesn't New Albany have the third best player in the country in Romeo Langford? Number 3 on Rivas national list. What this translates into is that Nunge is playing at a very high level on an excellent team. He is the type of kid that Iowa doesn't normally get.

Nunge looks underrated nationally by the recruiting gurus.

Good thing Jack Nunge grew up very early in Iowa and has maintained some closeness to the state. I really think we "stole" a player who would be a starter at a lot of ranked colleges if he didn't come here. I absolutely love the three kids coming to Iowa next year. Next year (with three talented players arriving) should really be interesting, and there is going to be a lot of pressure on a lot of our players to really step it up or spend some serious time on the pines.

That is correct, some services have had Langford as #1. Fun to watch, and by all accounts a very good kid. He stays after every game and signs autographs until there is no one else in line, rumors are sometimes he is there over an hour after the game. New Albany may have another couple D1 players on their roster, not at Langfords level, but D1 nonetheless. It was a great game to watch, and the final score is not indicative of the competitive nature of the game. Fundamentals beat athleticism in this game.

Castle up 34-31at the half. Nunge with 16 points (two 3 pointers) and a fisful of rebounds. Nunge plays mostly around the perimeter. Build looks similar to Uthoff. Needs to work on his defense.

Game announcers bemoaning the fact that Nunge is leaving the state.

So at 6'11" he could be a better Uthoff?
