Relax folks, trump's tariffs on Canada and Mexico will offset the deficit. trump said he was going forward with those tariffs on those two countries to replace the terrible previous agreements. He said he couldn't believe anyone would have signed those agreements.

In 2016 the deficit was $587 billion. That was the last year of the Obama budget. By 2021 which was Trump's last year, it was $2.8 trillion.

1 Extending the 2017 big tax cuts to the wealthy and Corps

and

2 Giving new huge tax cuts to the same groups.

Irresponsible for these so called anti-debt REpubs. In 10 years the debt will be something like $50+ trillion dollars according to the Congressional Budget Office.
