Cheapest ticket for the Super Bowl is $7000 right now.....how much

Isn't it something like only 3% of the Superbowl tickets actually sold to the public? The rest are all allotments to other teams and sponsors, and make their way onto the market through resale.
Ya after a quick search, both participating teams get 16% each, the rest of the league splits another 43%, and the last 25% goes to the league office.

The partipating teams holds back part of the allotment for themselves, and then does a lottery for the remaining tickets.
Most of the rest of the league is keeping their allotment for executive staff and players.
NFL is using theirs for their executive staff, families, and gives out free tickets to first responders, celebrities and such.

Anything that's hitting the market is pretty much resale from people winning their lottery.
