I don't have anyone on ignore.

74,783,561 votes (50.4%) were cast for Trump. That number will grow because there's more ballots to be counted.

If the D's want to win the next round of elections you would think they wouldn't ignore why people voted the way they did.

You would think they would do less talking, less ignoring and more listening.

Instead....

I don't disagree with you Fran. Although we disagree at times, I enjoy the information you share. But notwithstanding your salient statement, you can't discuss things with racist bigots. It takes civility on both sides. Sometimes you have to see something burn to the ground before you try again. Jfk would have lost to Trump this year. Let's see what Trump does and how painful it gets for his supporters. We should know in a year or so.

@Moral & I discussed this in another thread where we agreed that the world started going to shit when the internet was invented. After the internet came "smart" phones and Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, etc. People don't talk to one another face to face; we "talk" via keyboards.

Look at all of the bots and misinformation on all of the social media platforms; think about all the hacking that has occurred over the years.

I kinda miss the days when, if we got lost, we had to stop for directions and someone knew where north and south were.

Social media honestly sucks.

“Nyah. Funny part is white people can't code worth a shit, are mathematically deficient, and have to rely on Indians to do the heavy lifting. Bodes well for America and is sad for the white race. Most Indians I've met are plenty hygienic. It will be a fun day to see the US devolve into a developing country though. Enjoy that ride.”

Nothing says mental stability like having to ignore people on a random message board because you can't handle it. Grow up dude.
His actual reason for posting this is bc he lost a bet with me and was supposed to delete his account. I offered him an alternative punishment to stick around (was going to be a 30 day profile pic only) and his response has been putting me on ignore and making repeated nana-nuh-booboo type posts. Totally normal adult behavior.

Putting you on my ignore list would make you special, as you would be the only one on it. Doesn’t seem to fit/wouldn’t make sense. I also don’t have ultra thin skin. Worry about your list, and I will continue to not worry about mine. How does that work for you?
I also don’t put anyone on ignore…what a snowflake move.

So what’s the point of being on this site if you are going to IGNORE pretty much anyone who has an opposite opinion of yours?

I would highly recommend you take a break from this place for a bit.
These aren't opposite opinions. They're trash posters who bring nothing to the conversation. So why waste your time on them?

It’s the smart phones. We were already wobbly with the Internet but the leap up in late aughts and early teens that had all of us plugged into handheld access to the Internet and all the content that is on there as massively changed our society and world. All ages and demographics too. Most of us are addicted to them and are losing connectivity to reality and the present.
