Cops take pride in their ability to stand outside a building. Just look at the Uvalde Police.
They can't stand out there forever. Just more proof society works for rich people.
Should be charging Tesla for their time.
The commanders are probably being paid off the books by Tesla dealers.

I'm pretty sure the officers are just doing what they've been ordered to do. Why such a strong police presence? Was there an active threat? Either way, Tesla stores deserve protection like any other business establishment would, regardless of how much of a fascist douche the CEO is.
I agree. Protests are fine but I’m not in favor of destroying property. Besides being wrong, it’ll just hurt the cause.

They stole Holzhausen from Mazda and Fisker from Aston Martin. Both great designers.
Why Musk felt he needed to get more involved in the design process just shows how much his ego has grown.

Correct. A business who pays their rent or one that owns the establishment and pays property taxes is legally entitled to equal police protection, regardless of whether or not one chooses to patronize that business.

It's all just part of the FAFO balance. What Elon is doing has real life consequences on regular people. You will have a little reciprocation, retaliation, and revenge. I'm not sure taking the high road defeats an oligarchy.
Most of the time it is off duty officers providing security. Are they on the tax payers dime?
