We're going with Prime Rib this year on my wife's side.
On my mom's side its usually the traditional German Goose dinner.

This year is none for me...hotel buffet with all you can eat King Crab legs.

For something different this year, we're going to The Monte Carlo restaurant in downtown Minneapolis.

Beef tenderloin. My old man will grill it on Christmas Eve when we celebrate with my side. Wife's grandma will probably have ham on Christmas day.

I don't think newborns can eat pizza.

Also, please stop stealing babies. It's not cool.

I think I'd have an easier time stealing narcotics from the hospital than babies.

And fine, I guess the kid's going hungry. Little bastard will eat what's put in front of them. I'm not letting them run things. They better be ready to wash it down with a beer with dad, too.

Prime rib for us this year. Side dishes will include much of our garden harvest: roasted butternut squash and sweet potatoes, a mashed potatoes and parsnips dish, green beans, roasted beet salad with lavender goat cheese, homemade rosemary & sea salt bread. I'm not a huge fan of Cabernet even though that's a top choice for prime rib. We have a couple of good bottles of Tempranillo (presumably good; previous bottles from the same vintage ha been good).

Prime Rib bone in as always. The lucky few get a beef rib after broiled with a bit of sauce. I usually do an extra half roast for prime rib sandwiches through New Years.

Where you buying your prime rib from? Should I do Cub, Byerly's or Von Hansons? Leaning towards Von.

We usually do Prime Rib but are doing a ham this year. Depending on the year Christmas eve is either my Jambalaya or tenderloins and lobster.
