Just thought I would get a jump on the doom and gloom crowd. I'm sure he will be fine and not be one of the .005% that have lingering problems with their groin after surgery.
He must really be tall to look like he is standing up while sitting in his wheelchair! He was walking yesterday and enjoying the basketball game just a few days after surgery.
Should back to normal in about 6 weeks.

It's a miracle......Now seriously, He really sucked it up this year, Many, Many Pro athletes/Football players shut it down and have the sports hernia surgery as soon as the injury is diagnosed, CJ quite literally took one for the team this year, I sure hope he can have a healthy season next year, he deserves it.
Yea pros do it because they still get paid while they have the surgery. They can get paid and sit.. Or get paid and try and play with the pain. Which one would you choose?? I'll give props to cjb for playing through it.It's a miracle......Now seriously, He really sucked it up this year, Many, Many Pro athletes/Football players shut it down and have the sports hernia surgery as soon as the injury is diagnosed, CJ quite literally took one for the team this year, I sure hope he can have a healthy season next year, he deserves it.
Were you diagnosed with a "sports" hernia or just a general hernia? It can definitely vary. Also were you sprinting around getting hit by D1 college athletes. TIA.A hernia diagnosis can be much different for each individual. I was completely unaware I had one until I was diagnosed because I felt no discomfort - it was found during a routine physical. However for many others it can cause debilitating pain without the option of toughing it out.
I have no idea how much pain it caused Beathard this year. It was clear he was in a lot of pain throughout the season, but I don't know which one of his various injuries was the cause of such pain. It was an extremely gutty performance by him last year, and hopefully next season we can keep him healthy.
