CJ 'not ruled out' for Ohio St game

I don't understand the "program putting guys in the NBA" Its not football where guys develop into pros. NBA players are known before they go to college. They go to the same programs mostly.

Evan Turner was a 4 * top 50 player
Mike Conely was a 5 * top 20 player
DeAngelo Russell was a 5* top 20 player
Keita Bates-Diop was a 4* top 25 player

Agreed, its pretty much nonsense but for some reason people believe it.

Talent gets drafted.

It apparently worked on Xavier Foster.

Sometimes talent isn’t needed to get drafted.

Talen Horton Tucker seemed to have been drafted because he has wide shoulders and long arms. I’m pretty sure it wasn’t because of:

40% FG%
30% 3pt%
62% FT%

11.8 pts per game
4.9 rebs per game
2.3 assists per game.

And often being benched at end of close games due to loose handles and poor shooting.

It’s all about the combine. Great basketball skills AND good athleticism is obviously the key to and NBA career, but if having to choose between basketball skills OR athleticism the athleticism wins every time in the NBA. Probably why I greatly prefer the college game. CJF has great basketball skill and will probably never sniff the NBA.

Sorry got a little rambly.

CJF will 100% get a sniff at the NBA with his shooting and play making ability

Not true, Steph Curry, James Harden, Kyrie Irving.

Those guys are all way more skilled than they are athletic.

Sniff probably wasn’t the right term, but my point is there are a lot of excellent college basketball players such as Uthoff that never get very far or much of a fair shake.

Placing bets on message boards?

Why the hell would anyone pay a bet they lost on a message board? It's a waste of time to pretend thats a thing.

You’re right. A Cyclone fan posted on here a few years ago “any takers Mitrou-Long beats Jok in 3 point shooting contest for $100?”. I replied I’d take Jok. Messaged him right before it started saying “we’re still on right?” I was seriously going to pay up had Jok lost but the Clone fan was not man enough to pay up.

Keep him out until he is fully ready. I dont want him coming back for MSU and re-injuring and missing more time. Best case is he comes back for @Ill and the BTT to shake the rust
