I'm not sure why this surprises me. Just seems, outside of the Hawkeye corner, his talent and effort has gone overlooked. Nice to see him with this recognition. Hope he outplays the other guy Saturday.

Tells me it wasn't just about looking at stats, but valuing the QBs importance as leader of his team.

That is awesome. Based on his stats I wouldn't have predicted it, but they must be basing it on the only stat that matters.
That's about right. Would have been interesting to see how his numbers would have been different if he wasn't injured for half the season.
And to think, OSU had the top 3 QBs to start the year.
Top 2. Miller was a receiver when the season started. And the 2 QBs may have been the Buckeye' downfall. In retrospect, it may have been better for the team if Jones entered the draft.
But Cook followed by CJB seems right. Next year it may be a battle between Barret and CJ.
So, uhhh......iowalaw.......what's up. How you doing, buddy? Should we still sit Beathard so that he can rest that groin?
And with guys like hackenburg and sudfield in the mix too. Heck, rudock had a good year too
