She shot the three too early and the end of the quarter though. She should know there's a very low chance of Iowa getting the offensive rebound for another shot. Should have shot it with 1 second left if she's going to try it.

The problem with the OPs post is it completely misses the mark by comparing Clark to McCaffery. Clark was an excellent three-point shooter last season but has struggled this season. McCaffery has historically struggled and continues to struggle.
The OP also insinuates that Clark doesn't understand that she's struggling which is inherently false. Clark recognizes that she's struggling and has adjusted her game. She's shooting fewer threes as compared to last season while at the same time driving into the lane to score, as well as distributing the ball more.
Also, Connor is a backup with very little going on that makes it to the stat sheets while Clark is the nation's leading scorer in WBB.
So, the OP is right only in the point that her shots are not falling but his overall point completely misses the mark.

Certainly her shots are falling now. If the game is moving along and her 3's aren't falling, yeah, she will need to adjust on a game to game basis. The "shooters need to keep on shooting" may be a horrible plan. This time of year is about winning the game at hand or going home and not hoping to get her shot back. Hopefully her shot will last a month. How well she is shooting 3's will directly determine when the bags get packed up.
She's fearless, that's for sure.
But I can understand how some of our rivals/opponents might not appreciate some her actions on the court.

Here's a clue, when you get frustrated....don't post it. Cause, it's basketball. "The sun don’t shine on the same dog’s butt all the time” ...thank you Hayden......which means that one can’t expect to get lucky and have some nice sunshine every single day. Even Caitlin Clark.
If you haven't figured out how freaking good Caitlin is and what she means to this team....again, get a clue. Go watch Lisa and the girls post game interview after last's night dismantling of t#6 team in the country. That should help you understand Caitlin's challenge to win games with this team at a very high level....

Sure, but that’s just life. She had some moments yesterday that were a little cringe from me with regard to overreacting to officials’ calls, but it’s all part of the game. She’s an amazing player who is appropriately getting attention - if it’s possible, she might not even be getting enough attention. Sure, that sucks if you’re ISU with what they’re putting together this year, but neither side has much control there.
