Not a bad time for this to occur if he can't play NE at home on Tye. Start Baer (he deserves it) but will probably be Uhl (could really be a stepping stone for him too). Uhl was pretty good tonight as well!

The fear of course is that there is a big drop off after Mike.....could be the difference in getting a win if we have to go without Sapp for long.

On the flip side Christian Williams might get some prime time experience.

I think we can beat NE at home without Sapp. He would be missed, but it would give Williams a chance at some meaningful minutes when he would give MG a rest.

NE has no real bigs and certainly no depth inside. Post JU up and keep pounding the rock.

It would be less than desirable but if this type of thing needs to happen, it couldn't of come at a much better time. We have 12 days before we play MSU and I too think we can beat NE in Iowa City. And has been mentioned, might pay dividends next year and beyond for Williams get some meaningful PT in a B10 game.

That being said, NE looked pretty good for much of the game from what I could tell from the IN game today.
