***Chiefs v. Steelers - X-mas Football on Netflix***

I have a good friend that is a Steelers fan. We've been talking shit all season. I am loving every second of this game. I guarantee he has burned through a pack of cigarettes.

Steelers have been pretenders all season. Tomlin isn’t near the coach everyone thinks he is. Makes a lot of awful decisions in game. Down 19, 4th and 2 and punts. Gets the ball back and starts running it, basically just mailing it in with 6minutes to go.

I'm a Steeler fan and this is wash, rinse, repeat. Mahomes owns them. His quick throw game has killed them every single time they play. Steelers massively outcoached, made no adjustments with Kelce killing them all afternoon.
Even without Chris Jones the OL was manhandled with defenders repeatedly in the backfield all day long. I thought Russ was ok considering how much crap he had to deal with in that game.
Steelers only path to a playoff win is a match up with Houston in round one. But no chance they will come close to challenging the elite in the AFC. They need upgrades in the secondary, at WR, and on the DL.

At the end of the day the fact of KC often winning ugly means nothing.....they got the bye and homefield.

I'm sure Andy would rather have those than some of his wins look more impressive.

Mediocre Mike strikes again. Gonna be another one-and-done postseason. Yippie!

Fellow Stillers fans who crow about the fact he's never had a losing season are like Husker fans bragging about their sellout streak.

Utterly meaningless statistic for a team that has had virtually no playoff success in recent memory.

I'd love for you to have a heart to heart with my Steeler fan friend. He is delusional when it comes to Tomlin.

Id say Steelers fans, myself included, are pretty split on Tomlin. Im in the camp of him being overrated and time to move along. His schtick is growing very tiresome!

Hard to argue Doodles….
Getting awfully tired of this routine
Although as bad as Houston is we might be able to beat them

We've tried everything here. Only works on my laptop. Not sure to bitch to 1) Nefflix 2) Mediacom, 3) both
We had a helluva time getting hooked up to the “live game” coverage…..it kept us in the pre-game BS and finally got us to the “live” game with about 7 minutes left in the 1st Q and the score was 6-0, KC. After that we experienced zero issues for either game. Was no different than a regular “network” game coverage.

Yeah, I don't think Netflix did anyone favors on how to prepare. Like I said earlier, I went to an older / better TV and finally got it to work. But the big TV in living room is less than 3 years old and it would not load.

I'm guessing a lot of people gave up.

Here is another reason I don't like the Netflix thing. Lets say its on CBS, I DVR it and can rewatch it and fast forward to points of the game.

Netflix= nope.

Eat shit Netflix

The Steelers stat is real. The other stat is fabricated while meaning nothing.

Must still be waiting.

Chiefs had 9 penalties for 90 yards, Pitt 4 for 25.
Yes they did, and about 50 of those were on RT Taylor.

We have Dish so used that and it was buffering throughout the game. It was a good minute to minute and a half behind the TV we used the app on. No problems there.

How Taylor kept his job is beyond me. He was bad at Jacksonville and bad here.

The parallels between Iowa and the Steelers are numerous. Win 8-9 games. Get railed by good teams if the game means anything.
At least I can remember the Steelers winning six Super Bowls but those get further in the rear-view mirror as each year passes.
Assuming they don't make it this year...and that's not exactly going out on a limb...it will be 14 years and counting since the last Super Bowl appearance.

For context, the Super Bowl drought following the end of the 70's dynasty........was 16 years.

Another parallel: Gary Barta-Rooney extended Tomlin through 2027.
