I read today that MLB may be looking at an abbreviated draft of 5 to 10 rounds this year. A lot of speculation that if that happens most college guys would stay and most high school guys would go the college route.
Kendall Rogers tonight indicated an additional year isn’t a slam dunk among the P5 conferences, a la third paid assistant. Revenue uncertainties will weigh heavy looking to college football.
It will be interesting as DII allowed the extra year so I figured DI would as well but that is sounding a lot Less certain. Kendall and Aaron Fit are great follows on Twitter for baseball info.
