We don't over-recruit enough. There is always attrition. That's football.

I actually think the way Iowa recruits is the right way...
its not about how many you recruit.... its about who you recruit, and how they develop.

and its really the development part that matters most... and Iowa is the best at developing and growing young men....

One of Clayberg's high school coaches told me it was all about position numbers....how many athletes offered at his position. They have to keep it balanced and the interview with the the recruiters from Iowa bears that out.
