"...the paper published an editorial accusing him of 'peddling fiction' to voters with his progressive politics.

"Sanders shot back when contacted by the Post for a response. 'People are telling us, whether it’s the Washington Post editorial board or anybody else, our ideas are too ambitious — can’t happen,' Sanders responded. 'Too bold — really? Well, here’s something which is really bold. In the last 30 years, there has been a massive transfer of wealth from the middle class and working families of this country. The middle class has become poorer and trillions of dollars have been transferred to the top one-tenth of 1 percent… Where was The Washington Post to express concern that the middle class was shrinking?'

"According to The Hill, Sanders lashed out again during a Bloomberg Politics breakfast, saying of the Post’s editorial board, 'check out where all the geniuses on the editorial page were with regard to the invasion of Iraq.'"

If the middle class is shrinking because they're graduating to the upper class, what's the problem with that?

In Bernie's world, that cannot be allowed.

Uh huh. Please explain Bernie's plan.

It has been explained repeatedly that the tax increase REPLACES your health insurance premium. Since we have a progressive tax system, the middle class will likely come out ahead. Every country that has gone to a single payer system has seen its total cost of healthcare drop.

This isn't about raising taxes on middle class families to pay for people who don't want to work. This is about reducing income inequality between the ultra rich and the middle class while also providing universal healthcare. If you don't think it's a problem when six people control as much wealth as the bottom 40% of the country, or when 62 people control as much as the bottom 50% of the world's population, you might be setting yourself up for capitalist authoritarianism.

Likely? Why not just charge the ultra rich more and leave the middle class out of it?

And then of course, we have to pay for free college.

And what could possibly go wrong when he starts attacking the banks and Wall Street?

I'll tell you what could go wrong.... see: Venezuela.

Oh we can't risk that. We better play it safe and keep giving Wall Street blowjobs as the banks pound our ass.

Do you think it would be fair for the middle class to pay nothing for health care? Even I wouldn't go that far.

How would it be nothing? The middle class would pay the same taxes they are now. Plenty of skin in the game. The ultra rich would only suck up the proposed middle class tax increase (2.2% household and 6% payroll increases). That would help narrow the income equality gap you mentioned that much faster.

Can you promise me that the quality and availability of my health care will stay the same?

If you can assure me me taxes will not go up by more than $120 a year (thats my annual cost for my high deductible plan) im on board. For some reason i have a feeling my taxes will increase more than 7 basis points.

Bernie is not going to get his healthcare, tax, college or any other significant plans through a congress. The reason to support Bernie is he wont take us to war. The rest of them will.

Why are the Democrats not going to support their candidate in Congress?

What if we actually do need to go to war?

That's not a problem either. Congress can take us to war if they ever feel a war is needed. That's actually their job. Bernie is the only candidate who will force congress to act constitutionally. If you're a constitutionally focused, small government voter, Bernie is the best strategy. He may not want to deliver that outcome, but it will be the result.

I'm not sure what you are asking. Ds don't control congress and aren't likely to take back the house anytime soon. Bernie isn't a D, he won't be able to swing Ds in congress. People say they want a 3rd party option in the WH. Bernie is the best hope to get an independant into office this cycle.

We're invaded Syria.

Some call that war.

How does that change my point? Here is Bernie's position on Syria. Sitting on the sidelines selling weapons to Jordan, Turkey and the rest sounds perfect to me. Don't you like where he calls himself conservative? Lets put a real conservative in the WH, vote Bernie.

Q: You opposed Obama's new decision to put Special Operations boots on the ground in Syria. But the threat seems to be expanding, not receding. How would you counter it?

SANDERS: What the president is trying to do is to thread a very difficult needle. He's trying to defeat ISIS. He's trying to get rid of this horrendous dictator, Assad. But at the same time, he doesn't want our troops stuck on the ground. And I agree with that. But I am maybe a little bit more conservative on this than he is. I worry that once we get sucked into this, once some of our troops get killed and once maybe a plane gets shot down, that we send more in and more in. But I will say this. ISIS must be defeated primarily by the Muslim nations in that region. America can't do it all. And we need an international coalition. Russia should be part of it--U.K., France, the entire world--supporting Muslim troops on the ground, fighting for the soul of Islam and defeating this terrible ISIS organization.

If quotes during a campaign were to be believed we would be withdrawn from the ME and GITMO.

Bernie is just talking about more stuff that sounds good that he cannot accomplish.
