Well, for starters, how many teams are going to be in these leagues? You can't even begin to answer the question until you make that decision.

You have to take into consideration the type of athletics. Kansas is a huge draw for BB but sucks for FB and that won't change for some time. So, no conference will want them for FB. Several East coast schools have strong BB traditions and programs, but nothing for FB. Do you fracture the structure for specific sports? I don't like the idea and hope it doesn't happen. There would be fewer championships, tourneys and the losers would be the fans. What ever happened to sports for the sport of it. Money ruins everything.
