...hell of a squad you have. Uthoff is unbelievable, plus handles himself with class.

If anything, I think you're helping my Boilers figure out some things for the rest of the season, such as the PG minutes moving to 3/4 Thompson, run more of the offense through Edwards, etc.

Good luck the rest of the way. Destroy Indiana when you play them, and hopefully we can see you again in both March and April.

Purdue is a very good team, No doubt about it. Before the Big season many here were discussing how Iowa would match up with and handle Purdue's big's. In the two match ups, It looks like Purdue is having a more difficult time matching up with Iowa's big's being able to move out to the perimeter. The Boilers are tough as nails inside, Iowa just creates some very tough match ups for their big men.

Thanks. Now go get those Hosers yourself.

Nice post. I still think the Boilers are one of the better teams in the B1G, and are capable of making a run in the post season. I agree with your assessment that Purdue's offense should run through primarily through Edwards and Thompson, with your wing shooters spotting up and your bigs hitting the boards. Hammons is too nice of guy. Painter needs to get him pumped up before the game.

Two great games between two very talented teams. Thanks for being a good sport!

Thank you. And yes, I agree with my fellow Hawkeyes that Purdue is a dangerous team and very talented. Purdue is the one team I wouldn't want to face in the B1G tournament.

Watching all the games, I see Purdue as a tougher out than MSU. Records be darned, I can see Purdue being a good tourney team this year.

I go back a long time even past the 1970 games (older than dirt)! To our "most hated rivals". You are good, very good and love the way you play! If I have a vote you would be in my top 3 (don't wanna curse you with #1). Don't wanna play ya'll again. Beat IU please!

I have always been a Matt Painter fan and I echo the sentiment that I would just as soon not face the Boilers again. They will do the B1G proud in the post season.
