Iowa offense was terrible today and you have to first blame BF then Nate Stanley for not finding AW on screens when blitzed. Poor recognition all day by the OC and QB that led to less than 200 yards of total offense.

I think he will and he better...everything I've read about Mansell makes it sound like he's the real deal.

Agreed Wadley was huge.....so was Jackson, hockenson, fant, Nelson’s, Easley. A gritty team defense held BC to 3 points in the second half. Team effort in poor conditions. Any other teams in NCAA would have had similar problems playing in those conditions. Go Hawks!

Nate is going to be a very good quarterback imo. Some games he was brilliant this year.
First year starter, needs a little time.

Nate had an excellent season for a first time starter with no experience, weak wide receivers and a newly constituted offensive staff. None of which was helped by the constant problems on the offensive line (play calling looks better when there is good blocking).

If you go through the media guide and look at the top 23 QB seasons there's only five sophomores, and Matt Rogers and Rick Stanzi's soph years aren't close. Tate and Chuck Long had far better receivers, more coaching stability and better lines.

Nate's already in good company. Look for big things from Nate next season.

There's alot to like about Stan. He has great potential going forward! There's also plenty for him to work on. Boy if he gets it figured out and our offense gets in step, we could see some truely special things.

Nailed it.. Stanley has to work on making quicker decision with the football.. You don’t have all day back there young fella! He either doesn’t trust his read or he’s thinking to much. But he could have doubled his production for this year and took way less sacks had he been quicker with the rock! I certainly hope he PROGRESSES thou because we’ve all seen what comes with being a year two starter at Iowa..

If he has better weapons and protection he could be really special. Not the fleetest of foot so if he gets moved from his spot, he has a hard time making plays. Pure throwing though, the kid is really good.

Great to see Stanley standing tall and strong in the pocket with defenders draped on him. Though to bring down like Big Ben. Couldn't do that on the skating rink they played on yesterday though.
