The states best talent doesnt go there but yet they keep winning. That says alot about the foundation of their program. But on the flip side i can see them have 12 pts at halftime and lose 55-38 in the 1st or 2nd round of NCAAs.

I'd take having a big 10 championship banner and losing second round of the NCAA over finishing 6th and losing second round of NCAA.
You can dislike them all you want, but they win. The do 3 things very well almost every year, they play tough defense, don't turn the ball over and are efficient on the offensive end. I wish someone would come teach Fran and the guys how to play tough D and not hurt ourselves with dumb turnovers.
Iowa fans around here have had them being down every year for quite awhile. They play a style that wins and get enough talent to pull it off. Still hate them...

I wish Iowa played better defense but I watch basketball for the entertainment value. My self esteem doesn't hinge on the accomplishments of 20-year-olds. I would rather watch Iowa lose than boring ass Pissconsin win 52-48.
And if Pissconsin people weren't the biggest douchebags on the planet, I might be more impressed with their Hickory High style basketball. As it is, I couldn't care less about them.

I’m as emotional a fan as anyone, being an Iowa Hawkeye is simply part of my identity, and yet Iowa could win every game forever against everyone and it wouldn’t occur to me to go on another team’s board to talk shit.
