Where is he playing professionally?

Per his twitter account, he signed with Fuenlabrada of the Spanish first division a couple weeks ago...believe they were in EuroLeague last year, not sure about this year. I think Gabe has been with the GB national team for at least the past year and seems to be doing well for them. As for the redshirt discussion, Gabe was quite old as a freshman if memory serves correctly, so redshirting as a 19 or 20yr old freshman didn't make a lot of sense. I get the impression Gabe was ready to move on and become a professional, so even if he did have an extra year of eligibility, I doubt he would have used it (no inside info, just a guess based on his age and ability to earn a living as a basketball player).

Wishing all the best to Gabe, he was fun to watch and grow as a player and person and carries himself extremely well on and off the court.

Speaking of former Hawks, sounds like Aaron White and Sapp played against each other in a friendly this past week, small world indeed. AW signed with a top Lithuanian club this off season and it sounds like a nice step up for AW as the team is big time in that region, has great facilities and competes in EuroLeague.

Also read recently that Basabe tried out for the Puerto Rico national team, not sure if he was selected or not, but seems like he is still doing well on the court.

Curious what Devyn will be up to this year and if he has completely recovered from his ACL tear. Wishing all the former Hawks still playing the best. Fran has brought our program back and its nice to see former Hawks earning a living playing the game they love.
