congratulations

to the Iowa wrestlers. your men did a nice job.

6 of your nine seeded wrestlers finished at or above seed. Your hvy was hurt and 125 was right there. better than ours this time. (thank God for bonus points.)

Well done. See you at the garden.

Thank you PSUranger and back at you. You guys just have to many studs at the moment us Hawks are hoping to up grade our recuriting to make a better fight out of this.:). Meant many Penn fans at hotel and enjoyed talking wrestling with them.

Love watching Nickal like I loved watching Taylor. I'll be rooting for Nolf at NCAA's too.

While we're sharing the love here...I became a bigger Brooks fan this weekend for sure! Opened up a little in the finals and had a pretty entertaining interview afterward! Stoll gutting it out all tourney was very admirable too!

So which is better/worse? Stoll having a great season and getting injured in the last dual OR Nevills getting injured at the beginning of the season and coming back just in time to not qualify? Both suck.

Both scenarios certainly do suck! Feel for both kids!

I truly do hope the next two weeks helps Stoll get closer to 100%. He's done a great job for you guys and he deserves a better fate than the one he's been dealt so far.

As for Nevills - I think he just wanted to be out there with his boys and thought it was worth giving it a go to help the team. It didn't really work out the way we all hoped, but I certainly appreciate his effort!

For sure it was better for Stoll. We know what he can do. Though not a sure thing it's tough to imagine Nevills not becoming dominant. The head start helps Sam a bunch.

Both do suck, but the sudden nature of Sam's injury sucks extra bad, IMO. That kid would have been 3rd at Big Tens and probably seeded in the top 6 at Nationals, with a great chance to become a 4x AA. Suddenly, he's relegated to just trying to hang in there. BTW, I thought he did a heck of a job last weekend considering his limitations.

Personally hope he does not go to Nationals and gets the knee taken care of.

I would hope that if there were risk of more structural damage then they would shut him down. It's unlikely he scores too many points at Nationals dragging that leg around, although the experience would be good for the big fella.
