I agree as the other thing that kills a Saban defense is QB mobility and Cook is a statue. You could see he was rattled in the pocket all night. You would think his pro evsluation would drop big time.

I doubt he was healthy. His passes had no zip and the deeper throws were floaters. He played like cr.. tho and his receivers didn't help him.

Getting ready to drive to the Rose Bowl from San Diego, but i had to get my Connor Cook bash in before I leave. I try to get one in every day. "Give me CJ Beathard every day of the week over Cook. One thing I know for certain, CJ won't quit and he will stand in there and take the punishment if necessary to get the ball out. Cook's gone soft and if the MSU fans don't see it, then they are watching with Rose colored glasses. Watch, all the reports are going to come out about his arm. It's a freaking crutch at this point.

I watched a bit of the post game news conference and a MI reporter was asking about his shoulder, practically begging him to give Spartan fans something to justify his poor performance with, but to his credit he made it clear his shoulder was 100% and he was fine. He just stunk the place up
