i was chatting in the concession line with a few kids in Iowa gear that I assumed were students or very recent grads.

Turns out Connor M was one of them. He confirmed for me that Bohannon can play the point and is definitely a better shooter than Gessel.

Seemed like a great kid to boot

Agreed. Point guards don't need to be the greatest shooters. They need to have quickness and the ability to drive and dish. There is a reason very few power house teams have white point guards.

Another non-athletic PG is exactly what Iowa needs to maintain status quo! Great guard play is the key to playing well in the college game.
