Let's not overlook Connor's 4-4 from the line that saved the game last night. Had he not come through, Iowa probably would have lost. Connor hadn't scored all night, and then the coach's kid was sent to the line with the game in the balance. Tough spot? I think so. But the tough-minded Connor came through and hit all 4 free throws to clinch the win. Thirteen rebounds last game, four game-clinching FTs last night. Solid defense every game. Give the young man credit.

I don't agree that we "probably would have lost" if Connor missed both of his last two. We were still up 3 with 8.7 seconds left. Had he missed both, RU would have had to nail a 3, survive our last shot, and then beat us in OT.

Possible, but not probable.
