I know the result sucked for you but consider this:
* Mahomes has been the Chiefs' starter for the last 7 seasons and the Chiefs have won 3 Super Bowls in those 7 years (and lost 2). Five Super Bowl appearances in the Mahomes' era is crazy good.
* The Chiefs are not going anywhere; they are the way too early favorite to win next year's Super Bowl.
