Costello down to 3 schools - Iowa among the 3

As another note from an earlier thread, Ross said Costello's visit is 10/20 to Iowa. Based off of his own Twitter Costello took an unofficial on 9/11. Interest looks pretty high.

You might try looking a little more closely.

Also, word to the wise to the IA Wrestle people: spell out the schools. It isn't that hard to do.
No shit.
I had to look up GWU. After seeing that George Washington University has no wrestling team or bulldog mascot I deduced that the 1st school Google brought up was not it. I understand that playing internet sleuth is fun for some of you so I won't spoil it for you. But for the other 83 out of 100 of us

Liked the 83% reference, Papa! I think that's my new favorite percentage. I highly recommend it for any future hyperbole you guys might want to express.

Is it Gardner Webb? Just asking because I refuse to look it up and I want to be part of the 83%!!!

Or is it where Jammies went to school........Genital Wart U?

Although Costello has had impressive wins, his losses at fargo were far shy from iowa caliber. As a hawkeye fan i would hope we could land someone better. Gable, Colton, or any other big name. We missed out on Gremmel, and Isley.

Gremmel or Isley were not going to come to Iowa to sit behind Stoll for 2 years. I think Colton Shultz is our best chance. He has the talent to start as a true freshmen and will be at NOC2, I have to be in DC that weekend so I wont be able to make it. Hopefully he leaves impressed by Hawkeye nation! Costello would be great much needed depth at heavy and with a couple of years practicing with Stoll and Telford could become a solid D1 heavy to take the reigns if we don't land Colton.

Bird in the hand worth two in the bush as they say. Costello will come probably pretty cheap and he will come in and give Iowa much needed depth. Iowa can get Costello and go after Gable or Schultz. It's not a one or the other situation.

I believe Costello is a bit of a late bloomer. He isn't a big time recruit but would be an excellent room/developmental guy for HWT. We need bodies there.

Rasing wasn't a big time recruit and he had a nice career. Of any weight, it seems heavy is a weight where less heralded recruits can succeed with good coaching...ahem Berhow.

I think Holloway will be doing the same path as Snyder and bump up after Sammy graduates. Holloway is very athletic and they could get him up to 225 or 230. He has the athleticism to do it and the conditioning would probably fit his style more.

what, are those little birds supposed to be hawks?i am not very good at reading calligraphy.

I'll be sure to pass on the Raising love as I work with his old man, who happens to be retiring this year (or soon like Chief)

Which is next door to Chicago. Surprisingly, people in and around Evanston sometimes cross the border.
