There's a diameter range standardized by the NCAA. OSU's mat is the smallest diameter allowed

I thought that it was funny, in the Stoll/White match, when the announcers stated; "they should start at the far end of the mat, so that they stay in bounds" (after the 4th or 5th OB in 30 seconds)
