I will say this as a cards fan, guys I grew up with are cubs fans and never wavered I always thought that was commendable(of course I never rubbed it in ) congratulations

I've been "whining" about Joe Maddon's handling of the pitching staff for a couple days, but all's well that ends well. His players wouldn't let his poor decisions keep them from their goal. The best team in baseball (which they were all year, but that and a quarter will get you a used chew on the bottom of a Starbucks cup, you still need some breaks to win a World Championship!). Hate to keep a Cub thread going but Mediaite had a post that a bunch of Twitter folks thought that the letters KKK at the baseball game last night meant, you know, the Klan because we see racism everywhere now. I explained to one of them that he must not get out to the ball park much because it means strikeouts. He got all offended and said this: "EVERYBODY knows that but you're always supposed to put the third K upside down." So whenever you think somebody is totally stupid in here, just remember this post.
