Not sure of the criteria to be on that list, but it probably contains only 3 & 4 time State Champions, which the Brands only had 3 between them, with Tom out for state his Senior Year. They had about 10 losses each, which is pretty darn good, but the Titles may have appeared to be pretty pedestrian in the Grand Scheme of Things.For some reason Tom and Terry were not on Intermat's list of best high school wrestlers 1985-2005. http://intermatwrestle.com/articles/179

Edit: I didn't initially read the list, and I was starting to wonder if Mark Ironside was on it as well, assuming that he wasn't, since his High School resume appeared to be similar to the Brands. He wasn't on it either of course. Looks like the criteria was based on number of State Titles and Fargo, and who they beat in Fargo largely.
Hard to argue with the list, but that list changed a bit when looking at the best College wrestlers.
