During the Wisconsin / Michigan game I think it was Dakitch was talking about the NBA potential of various Big players and he was about to go into a big pitch on Garza and they cut him off - I didn’t keep watching does anyone know if he ever completed his thought? When they cut back they seemed to have moved on at that point.

Many complain about Dan but he actually seems to really respect Fran and enjoy the Iowa team. Maybe we should bury the Woodbury hatchet.

Oh and it was a tease because he was about to share what scouts told him...

I love Garzilla, but despite his offensive prowess he has some athletic limitations, namely on defense, that will give him a ceiling on how high he'll go. I have no doubt that he'll be picked somewhere, but I'll be shocked if he's going to be a lottery pick. At the absolute best, he's a late first rounder, but more likely he'll go somewhere in the second.

That's a crock of crap. when has the NBA been known for defense, other then a few shot blockers, defense is the last word on any NBA player minds. In fact the word TEAM is rarely spoken as it's all one on one, all about me and how much a player can score. It's a selfish professional sport. What the NBA was 10, 20 years ago is long gone, that's why it's no longer as relevant as it use to be......

They play defense in the NBA?

Anyone who says they don't play defense in the NBA doesn't watch the nba. There are a number of players who are almost impossible to guard, Durant, Curry, Lebron, Gianni's(sp) etc. Plus, they play a lot of games, imagine trying to guard LeBron and two days later guarding Leonard. Watch the number of open shots Iowa gives up and then an NBA team. It is true that because of the long season, they pace themael

It seems like only in the playoffs it is consistent.
A lot of people contend there is great defense, but I feel like they take a ton of plays off in every game. I also can't stand that every screen is illegal and there is a hip check that generates separation.

Yeah, I saw that. Really wanted to hear his take.

No
He never got back to that topic.
I stayed "glued" to the set too! 😁

Sure, what little I watch of it looks like every once in awhile somebody might. Hell, every now and again all the Starters play 2 games in 2 days, and only making $30 Million a year! They really give it there all! LOL!
