There was some Twitter rumblings last night that Dale Jones from Tyler Junior College will be going to Iowa. The kid was orginally from Waterloo West. He has supposedly grown to 6'8 230 lbs. He is having a really strong Sophmore year there averaging 17 PPG and almost 9 rbs. Shooting 45% from 3 and 81% from the line. Has had a bunch of major schools in watching him lately and his team is now going to the JC tourney. Anybody heard anything about our interest level in him or if these rumblings are true? Not sure he is what we need as far as a true post but hard to pass up a kid from Iowa who is putting up numbers like that at the major JC level. Sounds like he is a stretch 4 that can fill it up fast and pretty athletic. Never heard of the kid coming out of high school which is really wierd.
