Damn Stanley

I think BC had a better gameplan for the passing game, but anyone comparing Stanley to the fact that Wade had 200 yards passing has to also realize that 39 came on the underthrown pass that Hooker tipped to the TE and 48 came from the screen/dump to the TE on a play that shouldn't have occurred due to a blatant block in the back and hold within a yard few yards of the catch.

That's not to excuse those plays as if they didn't exist or don't count, but you can't say that Wade threw for 200 yards as some great barometer when almost 90 of it came on two fluke plays. They had a good game plan with crossing patterns and short throws, but that's on the OC play call not the QB for the most part.

Given the conditions, not sure why BF didn't call for more screens to Wadley or short delayed passes in the flat/releases to Wadley or the TEs.

Stanley was a true sophomore and the last true sophomore to start and play that well was Tate. Stanley had a better year than Stanzi did his RS soph year and better than Rudock as a RS soph. Some people expect these young college QBs to be Aaron Rodgers. SMH
