So we are disagreeing as far as what "that" is referring to in Tom's statement. I understood it to be the Ness match, you understood it to be MN's apparent long lineage of false injuries(Ness match included). Both could be correct, IDK.
What "fake injury timeouts" occurred for Minnesota after the Ness finals match and prior to the rule change? I would imagine there must be plenty for you to refute my statement of a rule change occuring 4 years later. Without that, I can't help but laugh when this rule is associated to MN by Tom.

Unless you're implying jammenz is fat, I wouldn't give him the #1 P4P troll crown. A contender for sure, but Champ? Meh.By fans of "wrestling," does this mean we should have a second team to root for just in case our primary one sucks for a season? Seriously though, if this turns out bad for Minne, I, and I think I speak for a lot of Iowa fans (and PSU fans who post), am still ready to start that GoFundMe page for Jammenz to get his Cornhusker gear up and ready for next season...least we can do for the #1 P4P troll

Funny how we have multiple threads and lots of discussion on the World Cup here and over on your board Iowan@heart is the only one posting on the topic. You're the exception that proves the rule. It's a well-known Iowa trademark.
It is actually a trademark of any well promoted and successful franchise for a large number of their fans to care just about their team. If more teams could get more fringe wrestling fans to start caring at the very least about their local team we would be a lot healthier as a sport. You're the exception that proves the rule.
