Dana Altman: “3,300 people. That's not good enough. If It’s me, then get rid of me....Somebody will hire me somewhere."

Honestly I don't know if I'd go to an NIT game, and I'm pretty much willing to go about anywhere. Just a different time and I'm not really interested.

Can't remember the year, but got basically court-side tickets cuz all the blue-hair-leave-at-the last-TV-timeout crowd didn't get first dibs. Was still and easily the loudest game I've ever been to at CHA.
A big reason was that there wasn’t a student section and those tickets were open to the public.

I’m guessing the Dayton game as well. Gatens last game at CHA. There was definitely a different feel to the arena that day and Iowa (Basabe & White) put on a pretty good show too.

Ironically, they lost to Oregon and Dana Altman in the next round.
I thought we made it to the NIT finals and lost to Oregan that year? Maybe it was a different year though?

Idk how anyone can think going to the NIT in Fran’s 14th or 15th year would draw a good excited crowd. It’s a totally different situation than his 2nd and 3rd years. Maybe not 3300. But I’d guess 5k would be the cap.

Agree to disagree apparently
