Dane Belton at Florida camp.

Not quite the news that makes my Saturday afternoon as enjoyable. Something is starting to smell a little bit right now and its not the half rotten tomato if found in my cupboard 20 minutes ago.

I'm gonna enjoy reading the following chestnut over and over in this thread: "The world won't come to an end if we don't get him." (duh, it's just sports)
Oh, and this one as well: "Never was completely sold on him." (funny how you waited until now to say that)
Lord humanity is 99% low intelligence folk.

Not sure what KF’s policy is, but an unofficial visit is very different than a camp. Camps expose you to the top players in our state and the country and allow you to test and refine your skills against them. An unofficial visit is just courting and recruiting.

Iowa has brought in committed players for camps aswell, it would be a lot bigger deal if this was an official, but it’s still something to keep an eye on.. but why is a gopher site reporting this and trying to throw shade

Just a hunch, but me thinks more than a couple of our gopher trolls are ISU trolls wearing gopher troll disguises.

And when the decommitts happen to ISU (and you know their coming) you won't hear from them. BTW not saying we'll lose Belton.

It's a camp, right? Haven't we seen several commits at camps? Logan Lee comes to mind recently.......didn't Ezra Miller win OL MVP at a camp in California after he was committed?
Those camps were more so national/brand camps (The Opening Nike) (Rivals Adidias). This camp was on campus and looks like it was hosted by Florida.

Looks like things might be heating back up with Azubuike. He just got another Hawk prediction on another sight. There was talk of him playing safety. Recently got a ranking bump from Rivals.

He's from Florida, but on his 24/7 profile it only lists USF and UCF offers from his home state. Hopefully he's solid, but if he were to receive a Florida offer after the camp I'm sure he'd give it some serious thought. Hopefully he'd realize he was a target for us and a fallback for them!

He actually got a crystal ball for Arkansas st yesterday not Iowa
Wonder if the guy changed his prediction from before. Little box on the side shows Iowa but he had a prediction in May and now a prediction in late July. Maybe he changed it. You prolly right.

As another uplifting aside, Wiltfong just came in with his Purdue prediction for David Bell. We all know how right the man usually is.
Edit: PSU maybe trending.

Just like the rest of us enjoy reading grown men wringing their hands over teenage boys. Speaking of your humanity quote.

Iowa is nearly full for this class so If 1 guy de commits I am sure they have the next kid on their list on speed dial. Not worried , kids need to do their thing and what's best for them , December Iowa will get LOIs from a very solid class.

At this juncture I'm operating under the assumption that we will miss on Bell. I'm interested to see who comes out of the woodwork as the 2nd WR recruit in the class.

Azubuike committed to Arkansas State today after his visit there over the weekend. I could see him revisiting this if one of his Power 5 offers opens back up, but it probably won't be Iowa.
