Michigan and Ohio State have huge number of alumni that are wealthy and more that happy to give whatever it takes to succeed. Did that before NiL deals, now is just easier to legally funnel their money to athletes. Remember several years ago, an Ohio State quarterback from poor family was seen driving around in a six figure sports car.
