Dec 29, 2015: remember that date. It may be the last best chance we have to beat MSU in the foreseeable future. Today, MSU just got a commitment from Miles Bridges, the #11 recruit for 2016. They already have commitments from #18 Josh Langford, #28 Cassius Winston, and #45 Nick Ward. Also, they're a favorite for the #1 Rivals 2016 recruit, Josh Jackson. Imagine if they had Swanigan too. Yeah, I know we've got guys coming in the next few years as well, but it's just a tidal wave of talent going to MSU this year and next and they're also a favorite of Malik Williams in 2017. That is super-Kentucky recruiting and much more scary because Izzo is light years ahead of Calipari as a coach.

The B1G just seems to be reeling in some major talent. Although it makes it tougher for us I love having an awesome conference. Lots of fun nights ahead in Carver.

All is well, we will have Bohannon...

I always thought Izzo had better teams with hard working 3 or 4 stars players; just like the Hawks are having from here on out!

At this point, MSU will probably have every starter a 4-5* player with more in reserve in 2016. It is a question whether they'll all buy into Izzo's system.

Sounds like it's between Arizona and Michigan State for Josh Jackson. He has Andrew Wiggins type talent. I would be surprised if he is in school for more than a year. Winston and Nick Ward are likely 3-4 year guys. Winston looks like a Keith Appling type. Bridges looks like a young Ron Artest that could be a one and done guy and Jackson looks like a future NBA All-Star.

The Big Ten is a great conference. And that's one impressive class with or without Jackson. But we'll see if Izzo keeps 'em all happy, :), doing things like playing defense, rebounding, and playing as a team, o_O, and especially from going pro early, ;).

Bridges and Jackson are best friends, the thing is they also play the same position and I doubt they want to take minutes from one another.
I'm feeling fairly confident Miller still gets Jackson, they have a great relationship built during the Gold Medal run for USA basketball.

It remains to be seen whether these great MSU recruits will accept the marching orders from a tiny man in a green coat.

Yep, the guy that led the way for them last March was under-recruited and a senior in Trice. There werent many better than him last March.
