And yet finished ahead of ISU and 4 other BIG12 programs in cup standings. Guess that's the price you pay for being in a legit power 5 conference.
Ruined my lunch seeing a troll from someone from my own hometown with a Cyclone handle. Not surprising considering what a shithole Muscatine has become.

Is it that bad? Granted I haven't seen much of it but was there a couple years ago and it seemed a hell of a lot better than ClintonIt was never nirvana; I will give you that. But over the past thirty years it has descended into the bowels of hell.

Very true. Unfortunately a lot of the river towns seem to have gone downhillSaying "it is better than Clinton" is about as complimentary as saying "it is better than Jalalabad." Clinton and Burlington could both stake claims to being the worst place in Iowa.

Des Moines metro has really distanced itself from the rest of the state. Not sure what eastern Iowa can do to close the gap.Very true. Unfortunately a lot of the river towns seem to have gone downhill

I don’t live there but it’s about the only place in the state to live if you like to do stuff.Hilarious how Des Moinesites think it’s so happin’.

Agree. It’s the only place worth bringing out of staters to when they visit. Music, restaurants, sports, bike trails, golf courses, disc golf, water activities, amusement parks, casino, biggest airport, & the best nightlife & bar scene in the state.Sorry but Des Moines is light years ahead of CR, IC and it's not really close.

Agreed. I lived in DM metro until 1996 when I left for college. I haven’t lived there since but make it back frequently. I can’t believe the progress the city has made in the last 22 years. How much more there is to do & fun downtown has become!I've lived in all three, lived in CR until 2012, moved out to Des Moines, I get back to CR regularly to see family, I know CR has made some nice strides with Newbo and some interesting new places downtown, but it isn't close. Just way more $$$ here and an investor community committed to moving the city ahead.
