Was it just me or was the defense better tonight?

I thought it was actually better against Nebby. Minne is not good and shoots way too many 3's for what they make

Defense the last few games is much improved.

I thought it was solid. Other than the opening segment, and later in the game when you start to avoid fouling, I thought they did a pretty decent job of not giving Minny everything they wanted. Sure, they didn't shoot it well, but still.

The zone has caused problems. I thought Dembele played some great minutes in the second half.

Helps when the opponent isn’t making their 3’s, but I also thought Iowa did a good job forcing some turnovers and not giving up easy buckets tonight.

It looked better, but hard to take too much from it as Minnesota's offense is really bad. Currently 96th in the country.

The zone has caused problems. I thought Dembele played some great minutes in the second half.

Fan played Dimbele as backup Center and he gave us some really solid minutes defensively and for a change, he didn't chuck and miss a couple threes.

Anytime Freeman is playing the defense has a big upgrade in rebounding/defense. I think Fran has to avoid playing Payton, Krikke, and PMAC at the same time and no Freeman.

And we all see it, this team is much better without Patrick. Things work.
