From all you that saw the game in person and got to see the whole field- Was our secondary WAY to soft to allow them to be so open so often? Or was it lack our of QB pressure and gave them way too much time to pass? Couldn't get a total picture from the TV on the whole defensive picture except i couldn't believe we were giving them so many long yards pass receptions over and over without anybody around or rush pressure from TV view!! Opinion?

I honestly think it was mostly a bad game for Mabin and Fischer.. Repeatedly beat downfield.. I'd say flush it and move on though, wasn't the norm for this defense!

Gave Leidner waaaay to much time without pressure. Looked like refs allowed inside center/guard holding for both teams making it more difficult to get pressure on QBs.

We asked the back end to cover longer because we didn't have pressure on the QB. That led to better throws to more open receivers. I'm not a fan of blitzing every down and I think we have to expect the two of them to have better nights. We really miss Ott and I think opted to take away the run and make them beat us with the pass. They didn't.

I agree. There was a play in the first half where Johnson beat a double team but the center and guard were blatantly holding him and he couldn't get to the QB and it resulted in a huge pass play to Maye.

It didn't help with all the conservative play calling in the second half.Trying not to lose can get you beat.

The Corners were playing soft because they were Cov. 3. The OLBs were playing the QB on the Zone reads. Parker had the DE crashing on the Tailback. So when they were running play action the OLB had to sit and half second to read the play. The corner was run off by the Wide Receiver and the TE or #2 receiver went into the flat and caught the ball for an easy 5+ yard gain
