Defining a classified email

Just watched a great clip that describes why we are seeing the "classification" of the old Clinton emails. In short, Clinton would send an email to other high level govt officials and the content of the email was secret information. Example, she could state "CIA sources indicate that the reason for the bombing is...". The email would not be marked classified at the time because no one outside of that email chain looks at the information. Not until now are officials looking at the emails and saying "that content in the email is classified information".

Some people are looking at this as if there is a PDF attachment with a document that says "top secret".

Also, don't liberals find it odd that Clinton has not produced any emails during the Bengazi situation. There is a 3 month gap in time where she did not submit emails to the Bengazi committee.

I wasn't aware of that. Is it the case that she hasn't turned those over or that they are in the remaining pool of emails that State hasn't released?

On the PBS Newshour tonight they made the point that 125 emails (their number) being referred to as "classified" did not include information that was classified at the time but is classified info now.

This is false.
Her emails weren't marked classified at the time then bc they weren't sent and reviewed thru the proper channels.
